Born in Brooklyn and raised in upstate New York, I have always an affinity for both art and science. My education and career choices have always been a mix of both worlds… from physics and architecture, to filmmaking and advertising… and from drawing and early silver-soldered table-top sculptures to welded work and public art.
I am a member of the International Sculpture Center, the Washington Sculptors Group and Tri-State Sculptors. I have an American Welding Society (AWS) Certification and have taught welded sculpture courses at Snow Farm, the New England Craft Program, in Williamsburg, MA. I have also been a juror for the New York State Council on the Arts, Decentralization Grant Review Committee, and am Past-President & Life Member for Extraordinary Service in the Greene County Council on the Arts (GCCA).
